Coil tension snap pins are a one-piece solid pin alternative to clevis pins and cotter pins. They feature a coil spring in the top corner of the pin which puts constant pressure on the pin to stay closed and in place. The pin is slid through the shaft hole and the wire snaps into a groove cut on the solid pin, locking it in place. Commonly used as safety pins when pulling attachments. Made from zinc plated carbon steel for mild corrosion resistance.
