Thinsheet nutserts are essentially a blind rivet with internal threads, great for adding an anchor point for fasteners in material that can only be accessed on one side. Thinsheet nutserts are designed specifically for materials that are too thin to support thread. It can be used in plastic, aluminum, mild steel and fiberglass and can withstand high loads. Thinsheet nutsets come in both steel and aluminum materials and have a low profile head for a near flush installation. Nutserts are pulled with a thread setting tool, similar to a rivet gun. Grip range is the amount of material the nutsert will be going through, not the actual length of the nutsert, which will always be longer than the grip range.
