Spring action hose clamps are a heat treated spring steel clamp meant for low pressure fuel, coolant, and vacuum line etc. They keep constant pressure on the hard rubber or plastic tubing maintaining a sealed connection by expanding and contacting with the tubing. They are installed with standard pliers and have a phosphate coating for corrosion resistance.
