Also known as spring pins, roll pins are a hollow, cylindrical fastener with a slot cut in them that is forced shut when the pin is put into place, locking the pin in place. They are commonly used as locking devices, positioning points, anti-chafing surfaces, and shafts. They are used in many different equipment applications and they are made from zinc plated carbon steel for mild corrosion resistance.
