Torx floorboard thread cutting screws, commonly called deck screws, have a torx drive pan head and a type F thread cutting point. These screws are used for screwing decking down on trailers. They require a smaller pilot hole so that the screw can tap its own threads. Standard floorboard screws are made from low carbon steel.
