Brazier head solid rivets are aluminum rivets with a brazier or "mushroom" style head. Modified brazier head rivets have a smaller head than standard brazier head rivets for areas where a larger head is not necessary. These rivets require access to both sides of the panel so they are not "blind" rivets and they require an air hammer setting tool to install them. Hard aluminum brazier head rivets are made from 2117-T4 aluminum.
