SAE 45* flare angle drain valves feature male pipe thread on the bottom for threading into internally threaded mating parts and male 45* flare tube for threading into mating inverted flare fittings. The 45* flare tube side provides an excellent metal to metal seal and allows for use with more materials than just air. The drain valve features a steel wing nut for unscrewing and releasing air while the body of the fitting is made of brass for excellent corrosion resistance. They can withstand up to 150 PSI.
