Male pipe drain cocks feature male pipe thread to thread into internally threaded mating parts, such as an air tank, and a wing nut that unscrews to release the seal on the fitting to drain the tank. The body of the fitting is brass for high corrosion resistance and the wing nut is made of plated steel. They can withstand up to 150 PSI.
