Quick connects provide quick connection and disconnection of wires, using low insertion force but maintaining high pull-out resistance. Fully-insulated quick connects have insulation around the connecting tab, allowing for higher resistance to corrosion. Heat shrink insulation on the barrel provides maximum weather and corrosion resistance while the solder lining provides increased conductivity and pull out resistance.
