Our cobalt jobber length drill bits are made from the highest quality M42 cobalt. The high heat capacity of this material permits 30% higher drilling speeds that standard steel drill bits and it also means it excells in drilling hardened steels, stainless steels, high temperature alloys, titanium and certain plastics. These bits feature a 135* split point which allows the drill bit to quickly sink into hard materials without "walking", eliminating the need for pilot drilling.
