Hex tap bolts feature a hex head and are fully threaded. Metric hex tap bolts are Grade 8.8. and are made from quenched and tempered medium carbon zinc plated steel. Grade 8.8 is comparable to imperial Grade 5. Grade 8.8 has a minimum tensile strength of 116KSI.
