Torx sercurity bits are made for use with tamper resistant torx head screws. Tamper resistant torx head screws feature a pin in the center that prevents standard torx drive bits from being used to remove the screw, so these bits feature an opening in the tip to accommodate for the pin. These bits come with a hex shank for use in a hand driver or a power tool.
