Reducing Unions

Nylon reducing unions are a barbed tubing connector made to join two alternating sizes of tubing together with barbs to hold the tubing in place. They are generally used in plastic and rubber tubing and can withstand a maximum of 150 PSI. Nylon has a high resistance to corrosion and a good resistance to chemicals such as gasoline. Use of a clamp is required for a completely sealed connection and resistance to pull-out.
