Standard thread grease fittings, also known as Zerk fittings, are made to thread into metric threaded holes to provide a port to lubricate a part with. They are made from zinc plated steel which provides mild corrosion resistance and feature a ball check valve to prevent grease backflow leaks. They come in straight or angled fittings depending on the application.
